Quick Start Guide

Great! You have downloaded and installed PayTek on your computer. Let’s get you set up so you can start paying your employees.

This guide will walk you through the basic steps to quickly get started with PayTek. We will only set up the minimum settings required to process a pay run and report to the ATO.

Step 1: Register for Single Touch Payroll

You will need to register your company’s ABN on the STP portal before you can start reporting to the ATO via PayTek. 

Follow the instructions in this simple guide.

Step 2: Create a new company in PayTek

Follow the steps in the video below to create a new company in PayTek.

Step 3: Add your employees

Now that we have set up your company, we need to start adding your employees.

The video below shows the process of adding a new employee. You will need to repeat the process for every employee in your company.

And that's it!

We have set up your new company and added your employees. You are now able to process a pay run.
