Tracking RDO or Time in Lieu
You can set up PayTek to track time in lieu by accruing it manually.
First establish a pay item to accrue the time off etc.
Now set up a manual accrual for this pay item for the employee.
When they work extra hours you record the actual hours worked but “bank” the excess in the time in lieu accrual pay item.
The employee thus gets their normal pay ie 38 hours in our example
On the payslip they see that they get their normal pay but they have one hour owing for time in lieu
When they take the time in lieu you record the actual hours worked and pay back the time in lieu so they get their normal pay.
