PayTek AutoSuper

PayTek AutoSuper is designed to help users manage Payday Super requirements by allowing super payments to be processed and managed directly within PayTek. 

PayTek AutoSuper integrates with our clearinghouse partner, SuperChoice Services, helping users simplify super payments under Payday Super requirements. 

Managing Super Under Payday Super

Under Payday Super requirements, businesses need to process super payments every pay cycle instead of quarterly.

For businesses paying employees weekly or fortnightly, this can significantly increase the amount of manual super processing required.

Currently, without PayTek AutoSuper, users typically:

  • process payroll in PayTek
  • generate super contribution file
  • upload file into a clearinghouse portal
  • process super payments separately outside PayTek

PayTek AutoSuper reduces these steps by allowing users to manage the super contribution process directly within PayTek.

How PayTek AutoSuper works

With PayTek AutoSuper, users can: 

  1. Finalise the pay run
  2. Submit STP reporting
  3. Create a super payment batch within PayTek
  4. Submit the batch to SuperChoice
  5. Process super payments – users have the option to process payment manually or automatically with the clearinghouse

Payment statuses and batch information remain visible within PayTek throughout the process.

Flexible Payment Options

Businesses using PayTek AutoSuper can choose to:

  • use direct debit where the clearinghouse automatically deducts the funds from your account, or
  • use direct credit to make a payment to the clearinghouse

This allows businesses to choose the workflow that best suits their needs.

Is PayTek AutoSuper Required?

Users can continue processing super payments using their existing method. The only change would be the frequency in which super contributions are made.
