Paying Contractor Superannuation
If you need to pay contractor superannuation but they are not a Voluntary Agreement payee then you can use the new Employee type “Not Reported Payee” introduced in Paytek v2027.40
This supports adding an employee record to your payroll file that is not reported to single touch payroll or a payment summary file.
Paytek will record and show the superannuation and any payments made to this employee type in all the payroll reports except Single Touch reports and the PAYG summary.
When you record superannuation in a payrun for the contractor it will be included in your superannuation payment batch to the clearinghouse.
